The owners of the European Tow Show, RHA, have announced that the show will definitely go ahead this year. The announcement comes to clear up any doubts raised over the recent cancellation of the CV Show which was due to be held at the NEC in March of this year. RHA is one of the partners of the CV Show and the cancellation of that show was due to the major truck manufacturers withdrawing their support due to the downturn in the global economy.

Please visit their website for more information on such concerns as how to get there, how to book tickets and on-site accommodation.

TISPOL Conference - 6th October 2009

The TISPOL 'European Traffic Police Network' Organisation was established in the year 2000 by the traffic police forces of Europe in order to improve road safety and law enforcement on the roads of Europe. The priority of TISPOL is to reduce the number of people being killed and seriously injured.

The Conference will be held at the Olympia Conference Centre in October 2009 and is hosted by the current President of TISPOL, Leitender Polizeidirektor Wolfgang Blindenbacher from Germany.

TISPOL believes the enforcement of traffic law and education will make a significant contribution to reducing the carnage on our roads with close cooperation with the European Commission and other European road traffic and transport enforcement partners.

Take part in Road Safety Week! 23-29 November 2009

Help us to save lives and to support people bereaved by road crashes by taking part in National Road Safety Week. Every day on UK roads, nine people are killed and nearly ten times as many are seriously injured.

Road Safety Week is organised by Brake, the national road safety charity, and supported by headline sponsors 3M, DHL, MASS (the Motor Accident Solicitors Society) and the Department for Transport's Think! campaign.

In Road Safety Week 09, Brake is calling on all drivers to commit to not drink even a drop of alcohol before driving, nor take even a drag on a joint or any other illegal drug. They are also calling on communities to inform the police of known drunk and drugged drivers and help save a life.
