Key Issues being addressed by the Working Group

PAS 43:2010 - The main focus of Working Group 2 had been the production of PAS 43:2010, which will be launched in March 2010. Revisions to PAS43:2008 have been developed for incorporation into the new version.

Stakeholders - The key stakeholders of PAS 43:2010 include the major Motoring Organisations, the major Trade Associations, Highways Agency and ACPO, who in previous editions of PAS43 had both been mentioned as supporters, as well as the ABI and AXA Assistance. The tyre industry are represented by REACT as well as ATS Euromaster Limited.

Communication - The main changes to PAS43:2010 will be incorporated on the SURVIVE website. The current release (PAS43:2008) is available. An important addition within this edition of PAS43 was the inclusion, as an example of best practice, of the National Scheme modules contained within the HA Sector Scheme 17b. The price of PAS43:2008 is £27 and it is available in colour.
